What was your favorite book, or book series, as a child? I loved the Little House series. As soon as I was reading one book, my mother would ask me what the next book was in order to have it ready for me.
I loved this series and I was endlessly fascinated by the pioneer life depicted in these books. I loved the wild setting, the primitive homes, the animals, and the adventures described in this series.

These quotes from Laura Ingalls Wilder really move me. I am fascinated by her moment in time, just as she thought about other past moments in time. Now is now, and these nows are being left behind in time so very quickly.

While I do not live in any of Laura Ingalls Wilder's home towns (although she did spend two months in San Francisco), I feel fortunate to live in a place that has preserved its history. I have spent most of my life living on land worked and owned by cattle and land baron, Henry Miller. When I have the opportunity, I check out old homes and museums. The Little House books fueled my interest in history and for that I am grateful.
If you have ever visited any of the Ingalls or Wilder homes, if you are a huge fan of the TV series, or if you have fond memories of reading this series as a child (or, as an adult, its that good!), you will enjoy this souvenir of the stories.
Here is the inspiration for the pink and blue choices for these bracelets:

Enjoy and be sure to get out there and see some history!
