Have you read The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett? This book was my introduction to Ken Follett novels and I do find Follett to be an amazing author. This book follows the life of Tom Builder as he takes on the job of building a cathedral during 12th century England. As a history buff, as well as being fascinated by England, I found this book to be captivating. I devoured this book, as well as the sequel, World Without End.
