The inspiration: Love. That's all. And I thought this would look adorable on a girl's skirt.
The embroidery: Loopy hearts and linked hearts with Love written in English and French,

This 5 pocket Old Navy skirt had a perfectly good hem before I got to it. But I do love the worn, frayed look. I cut the hem off, sewed a tight, straight stitch along the bottom and ran it through the wash to begin the fraying. I think it takes a sweet, demure skirt to a bit edgy. And the sweet was returned to the skirt with the Love~ly embroidery.

I think this would be equally appropriate for a pre~teen, topped with a pink sweater and for a very petite woman with a tank or maybe a ripped concert tee. (Yes, I do have a friend who must sometimes shop in the girl's section.)
Would you wear this if it were in your size? I totally would, with a pair of leather ropers. Yee~haw!!
