The inspiration ~ Check out this little red chain bordering the tag. I tried to recreate this chain. Although I like my chain a lot, it is a rather poor representation of the original chain.....

The embroidery ~ I basically began by using a split stitch to embroider a wave around the skirt. I then went back around again and added the top of the chain.

I then added the heart over the right hip. I am finding it impossible to resist these loopy little hearts right now.

This was all free-hand embroidered. Thus, making the bottom chain a bit irregular. I hope that the irregularities aren't easy to spot to someone who doesn't know where they are.....
