Oh, these are fun. I was making my typical trek "over the hill" into Gilroy. I usually just zoom past
Casa de Fruta but this time I wasn't in a hurry and it was such a beautiful day. Casa de Fruta had an impressive Halloween display set up in the parking lot. I wish I could have taken a photo of what I saw coming off the freeway. But that would have required me standing in the freeway off ramp to snap the photo. Sometimes I am that crazy. Just not this day. Bummer.
The focal point of the display was this teepee. There was a learning center inside with benches to sit on and an educational board inside. There were also lots of "cave drawings" lining the walls inside. I saw at least one school field trip here.

Here was what I really came for. I love to photograph the old farm equipment. The light was a bit low so only a few of them weren't under shadows. I was lucky to get this old truck!

My plan was to hang some of my aprons to photograph. I like the photo but setting up for it was not easy. Plus, the rust comes off. Like, onto my fingers.

I just thought this stump was cool.

I had some company too. Although I think the word that these birds would have used for me was intruder.

Love these old signs painted onto plywood. These circle the (giant) fruit stand.
