Dress Forms

Christopher and I took a little drive to Clovis this past weekend. Have you heard of Clovis? Chris Colfer (Kurt on Glee) is from Clovis. Clovis is right next to Fresno (California) and has a spectacular downtown area. Christopher and I walked around antique shops until our feet were ready to fall off! We stopped in at The 500 Club Bar and Grill for drinks and a snack.

I found a couple of vintage wire dress forms. They were gorgeous!!! And between $100 to $125 each. I wanted one soooooo bad. I need a beauty like this to model my aprons. I can't always count on having a model when I need one.

There are a gazillion of these black wire forms on Ebay right now. I'm sure they are vintage style, not truly vintage as most of the Ebay listings suggest.  Still, cute right? I might end up with one of these before the day ends!
