I know, these bag dispensers are going to be obsolete someday soon. But until then, I do use the plastic bags quite a bit. They make great school lunch bags for my daughter. I don't have to worry if I don't get them back. Pet accident picker uppers. Litter scooping bags. I did try to make plarn once but it didn't work so well for me. Anyway, these had been stored under the kitchen sink, next to the garbage can. Yuck. I would have to throw the whole stack away every so often because something funky would get into them. I finally made my own dispenser bag!

I didn't follow a pattern but here is what I did:
Sc 36 stitches around an elastic hair band. Connect the round with a sl. Chain 3, sk next 3 spaces, sc in next space. So, basically, you crochet a 3 stitch chain, and attach it every fourth sc. When you get to the next row, just attach your 3 stitch chains to the chain underneath it. Don't try to shove your hook through any more stitches. This works up so fast! Continue on until you have your desired length. (I might change it at this point next time and eliminate the next row of sc. Or I might add an additional row of sc at the bottom before beginning the fishnet) Single crochet your next row. Then single crochet over another elastic hair band. Use a slip stitch to connect the row. Without fastening off, chain 20 and attach it opposite of where you started. Sc another row and connect to the beginning. Fasten off.

You dont seem to mention what size hook you used.I am using a g/6- 4.25 mm and it seems to small. So I am curious to know the size hook used in the above pattern!
